Fleet Analytics with Enhanced Data FAQ
Green: all eligible equipment that have a Slingshot Gold subscription assigned to it and are a part of your working set/filter.
Black: all eligible equipment that have a Slingshot Gold subscription assigned to it but are not a part of your working set/filter. You can always add it to your filter selection by selecting it. Your original working set, however, has not been modified with this addition/subtraction for any future use.
Gray: the equipment does not meet the criteria for Fleet Analytics. Selecting the equipment will display the criteria that is not being met.
See this image for an example of all three.
Field computers running software versions older than 3.7+ will only report Working Time and Idle Time. Working Time will only be the amount of time any one boom section is ON (inside or outside a job). All other time will be grouped together in Idle Time calculations. For data integrity, it will be best to update all field computers to software version 3.7+ before utilizing this data for important business decisions. Total Logged Hours are based on any time the field computer is On or Off.
Unfortunately, No. The data is integrated with the field computer software so no external manipulation of the data is available. It will be important to have all field computers on software version 3.7+ for better data integrity. This software version and beyond has the ability to distinguish the other two data fields of Field Transit and Road Transit times.
You need to meet three criteria parameters to show correct Fuel Consumption data. 1) You need the machine specific ISObus Machine Adapter cable, and 2) be on Viper 4 software version 3.8+, [3.7+ on AGCO machines] and 3) on a machine from our approved machine list. We are constantly working with machine manufacturers to allow access to their Machine Bus data so the approved machine list will be evolving.
Please see the Why are my idle times so large? FAQ for explanation of how Working and Idle hours are figured for software versions older than 3.7+. For software versions 3.7 and newer, the times are figured as below:
Total Logged Hours - any time the field computer is On or Off.
Total Working Hours - any time a boom section is On (either inside or outside a job).
Idle - any time the machine has stopped or is traveling less than .4 mph.
Field Transit - any time the machine is not idle, is not in Road Transit mode*, has the booms unfolded**, and/or is traveling less than 22 mph.
Road Transit - any time the machine is not idle, is in Road Transit mode*, has the booms folded**, and/or is traveling faster than 22 mph.
*Road Transit mode is based on the road switch connected to a Raven HDU (Hydraulic Drive Unit) installation ONLY! Future development is in the works for additional road switch sense installations.
**Booms Unfolded status is based on feedback from an AutoBoom XRT or Raven ISO AutoFold system. These are the only two installations that will provide the correct folded/unfolded status needed to meet this criteria.
All data is based on machines that are actually working for that day or time period. You may have selected more machines in your Working Set that are not used to figure the graphs since they were not working during that time frame.
If, for example, you wanted to check daily figures for your fleet of 16 machines but only 10 were working that day, your charts and figures would only be based on those 10 machines that worked. Please check the bottom of the Fleet Analytics page for the total number of machines used in the data analytics.
