Machine View Basic FAQ

Yes you can but first you need a Slingshot Gold subscription to see Machine View Basic information. You also need to be running software version 3.8.0+ on your Viper 4(+) for this information to be visible. Tank levels are the initial Machine Telematics details that are available with your Slingshot Portal account.

You first need a Slingshot Gold subscription and a Viper 4(+) running software version 3.8.0+. To see more information like Fuel Levels, Dep Levels, and Engine Hours, you will also need the machine Telematics cable.

AGCO machines use the 1-115-2001-074 adapter (Telematics) cable; while, CNH and other machines use the 1-115-0172-602 one.

The Bell icon signifies your DTC (Diagnostic Trouble Code) status. Machine View Basic will indicate any active alarms with the following colors and indicators:

Clear: All is good!

Blue with Exclamation Mark: This is an information alarm.

Yellow with Exclamation Mark: This is a warning alarm indicating something is not working optimally. The system is still able to operate within parameters but should be checked for any incorrect settings or status.

Red with Exclamation Mark: This is a major error. The system might be operating but the system is working outside the given parameters. Operation should stop and the error(s) should be corrected before continuing.

Red with X: This is a critical error that must be corrected before operation will continue.

Machine View Basic will show if your machines are disconnected/offline (gray plug-in icon), connected/online but idle (light blue three dots icon), in transit (light blue road with vehicle triangle icon), and in a job (green double arrow icon).
